TEMECULA, Calif., March 6, 2023 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Neotrope®, a 40-year-old marketing and entertainment company, reminds U.S. 501(c)(3) charities “doing good” that they have until April 1, 2023 to apply for this year’s JL Simmons Nonprofit PR Grant program. Ten worthy causes will each receive $3,000 of in-kind donations for PR and marketing support via Neotrope’s Send2Press® Newswire, for a total program value of $30,000 this year. Neotrope is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2023.
The JL Simmons Nonprofit PR Grants program was launched in 2000 to help promote worthy causes with a grant of in-kind donation of services. It was created by the late Dr. JL Simmons, PhD and Christopher Simmons. The deadline for applications is April 1, 2023, the 20th anniversary of Dr. Simmons’ passing.
Said Neotrope CEO Christopher Laird Simmons, “My dad and I started this grant back in 2000 to try to help worthy causes get the word out, and we’ve been proud to help amplify awareness for many great charities. This year is a bit bittersweet, as it is also the 20th anniversary of my dad’s passing on April 1, and he is sorely missed.”
U.S. charities “doing good” can apply for the 2023 grant program here until April 1: https://prgrants.com/non-profit-pr-grant-application/.
All charities applying for grants can also get 20% off on all of the newswire services offered by Send2Press, even if not selected for a grant.
Grant winners will be announced in May.
